The Motability Scheme was launched in 1978 and aims to support people with disabilities in achieving independence through access to affordable mobility solutions. 

To be eligible you must join or already be a member of the Motability Scheme, this includes parents/guardians of someone receiving relevant allowances., and have at least 12 months award remaining on your benefit.​
