BYD and Ayvens partner to support the shift to electric vehicles in Europe

Shenzhen, China - BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ayvens, a leading global sustainable mobility player. The MoU, formally agreed during a signing ceremony at BYD’s global headquarters in Shenzhen, China on 2nd July 2024, brings together the two high-profile brands to support the distribution of new energy passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, for corporate and retail customers in Europe.

At the BYD hosted ceremony, the MoU was signed by Tim Albertsen, Group CEO of Ayvens, and Ms. Stella Li, Executive Vice President of BYD, in the presence of Mr. Wang Chuanfu, Chairman and President of BYD Company and other representatives from both companies.

Through the agreement, BYD will collaborate with Ayvens in providing corporate clients in Europe with a diverse multi-segment range of new energy vehicles.

Ayvens’ European clients will benefit from a suite of tailored electric fleet vehicle solutions, from advisory services and operational leases, to end-to-end charging services. Ayvens and BYD anticipates supporting more than 30 European enterprises with their electric fleet requirements in the first year of the MoU.

Ayvens will also offer white labelled full-service leasing services to SMEs and private individual through BYD’s dealer network in Europe. Initially operational leasing services will be available in France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg with plans for further expansion in additional European markets. Ayvens and BYD will actively explore more opportunities within retail, further developing white label operational lease cooperations, to nurture the transition to electric mobility within Europe.

There will also be enhanced collaboration through training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives to adopt a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in new energy vehicles and battery technology.
